WHATS ON

CHRISTMAS JUMPER DAY
This year's Christmas jumper day is Friday 15th December.
Children are invited to come into school wearing non-school uniform along with a Christmas jumper.
There is a suggested donation of £1 for Save the Children.
Remember, there’s no need to buy a new jumper.
You could upcycle an old jumper, get crafty or head to your local charity shop to buy a pre-loved festive knit.
If you want to get creative and decorate a jumper, the Christmas jumper day website contains lots of fun craft ideas.
If children do not have a Christmas jumper, they may still come in non-uniform and the suggested donation.
Please refer to the parent mail that went out for more information.
CHRISTMAS LUNCH
This year’s Christmas lunch will be on Friday 15th December.
You can order your child’s Christmas lunch using the link that was provided in the parent email.
If you have more than one child at Freeman wishing to order a Christmas lunch a separate form will need to be completed for each child.
The cost of Christmas lunch is the normal meal price of £2.35.
Children who are entitled to free school meals or are in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 will receive their meal free of charge as usual.
No payment is needed at this time, as Christmas lunch payments can be made as normal the week beginning 11th December.
Please be aware that the deadline for ordering a Christmas lunch is Thursday 30th November.
No other school dinner or school packed lunch will be served on that day so if your child does not wish to have the Christmas lunch, please arrange for them to have a home packed lunch.

YEAR 2 CHRISTMAS NATIVITY
Fireside Nativity by Maple class will be performed to parents on Thursday 14th December at 9:10am and 2pm
On Wednesday the 13th December there will be a performance to the rest of the school, where we hope all siblings that are in school and the pre-school will be able to join us.
Tickets are limited to two tickets per family, for each performance.
Children under 5 will require their own ticket.
Ticket forms were handed out with your children.
Please ensure ticket forms are returned to the school by Friday 1st December.
Top of the Rocks - CET Winter Tournament
Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been entered in to an inter-Trust times table competition using the TT Rockstars platform against all of the schools in the Trust.
The competition starts on Monday 27th November and ends on Friday 15th December.
It is based on the whole school, not individual children, so we need as many children as possible to answers times table questions during this time!
To take part, all they need to do is log in to TT Rockstars, and complete any of the single player games.
They can log in as many times as they like during this time.
Plenty of opportunities will be on offer, to come in at lunch time to use the school laptops and tablets.
We look forward to letting you know how we do!
