Place of work: Freeman Community Primary School (Stowupland)

Required A.S.A.P. from 11.40am - 13:20pm, Monday and Friday, 38 weeks (Term time only) per year.

Freeman Community Primary School is a successful, happy, caring community of 208 children and 26 staff in the village of Stowupland.

Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage although not essential as training will be provided.

Freeman Community Primary School Governor Vacancies

Did you know that you don’t have to be a parent or member of staff to be a school governor?

School governors are also drawn from the local community and come from all walks of life.  Freeman Community Primary School is looking for a Trust and a Parent Governor from the local community to join our governing body. The successful people should may have no existing ties to the school. If you have an interest in education and can commit to one evening (Thursday) six times a year and occasional visits during the school day, we’d be very pleased to hear from you to discuss the role of a governor further.

No prior knowledge is necessary; a comprehensive range of training and support is provided. It’s an exciting opportunity for you to:

  • acquire new skills;
  • participate in teamwork;
  • contribute to the community;
  • make a difference to children’s lives.
