Jubilee celebrations - Friday 27th May

Mogers Drewett launch Jubilee Bunting Competition - The Bath MagazineFreeman CP School are inviting the children to come into school wearing red, white and/or blue as part of the Jubilee celebrations  on Friday 27th May,  Weather-permitting, school lunches will be served in paper lunch bags so the children can eat them outside at our very own Freeman CP School street party which will take place in the playground.  The children will also be participating in Jubilee-related activities within their classes.

MUsic festival at trinity park

To celebrate their success in whole class music tuition, Year 5 have been invited to attend and perform as part of the County Music Whole Class Ensemble Teaching Festival at Trinity Park on Monday 20th June 2022..  They have been learning the guitar as a class since September and this event gives them the opportunity not only to play along with other schools but also for parents/carers to watch them perform.  

Crucial crew

Suffolk Crucial CrewThe Year 6s are attending a half-day session with Crucial Crew on Monday 20th June.  Crucial Crew is a national scheme which teaches children in Year 6 how to keep themselves and those around them safe at all times. The half day sessions are led by professionals in the field and aim to show children how to stay safe in various situations. The children will be invited to participate in eight different scenarios on topics such as drugs and alcohol, gangs and befriending, fire safety, first aid, emotional wellbeing and more.

Leavers' activity week

As the Year 6s weren't able to enjoy their usual week residential in October, they are participating in a week of events intead including a private screening at the Regal, a morning of Laser Tag followed by lunch at Planet Laser and a 3-day stay at Whitwell Hall Country Centre. Sounds like they're going to have a fantastic time!
