Oak - Year 6

Bawdsey Residential 2019

:Day 1: Rain stayed away for most of the day  Here they are arriving at Bawdsey, having lunch, going on their Coastal Walk & fencing.

Day 2: Today Oak class learnt survival skills, whittling & den building. They also went on the Giant Swing, attempted the trapeze (climbing a pole to a platform and jumping off) & orienteering.  To finish off the day they enjoyed the PGL Sports Night.

Day 3: The children have been tackling the climbing wall and attempting the sensory trail this morning. They enjoyed the challenge of working as a team with blindfolds on. They also did raftbuilding, testing the finished raft on the water (successfully!).  And they tried aeroball (a cross between trampolining and netball).

Day 4: The children were abseiling and attempting archery in the morning.  They then spent the afternoon scaling Jacob's Ladder and attempting to complete the challenge course.  A beautiful day on the Suffolk Coast!
